All aboard the NYC Ferry!

There is a new and cheap way to cruise and explore the Brooklyn shoreline and the East River (which is really an ocean strait), all the way up to East 34th Street in Manhattan or Astoria, Queens. The ride costs $2.75, just like a one-way subway ride, but it’s not included in the Metro Card for the subway and buses. On summer weekends, you can also take it to Governors Island, which was recently transformed into a park with beautiful views of all you can see in the photo. Don’t miss it!
